SoftwareTestPilot respects the intellectual property of others and expects the same from everyone who publishes on our community surfaces. This page explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright, how quickly we act, and how a user whose content was removed can dispute that removal.
We write our own material
Tutorials, interview answers, salary analysis, and code samples on this site are written and reviewed in-house by our QA team. Where we quote documentation, standards bodies, or a vendor blog, the quote is short, clearly attributed, and linked to the original source.
Job listings are aggregated, not republished wholesale
Job entries in Jobs Radar link back to the employer or original posting. We show a short summary plus our own added context (skills breakdown, interview prep, salary insight). If you are an employer or job board and want a listing removed, email us and we will remove it — no DMCA formality required.
Repeat infringers lose access
Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing material to community surfaces (QA Hangar posts, answers, showcases) are suspended and, on a second confirmed strike, permanently terminated.
Filing a takedown notice
If you own the copyright to material that appears on this site without your permission, send a written notice to support@softwaretestpilot.com with the subject line DMCA Takedown Request. To be actionable under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:
- 1A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- 2Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (a URL to the original work is ideal).
- 3The exact URL(s) on softwaretestpilot.com where the allegedly infringing material appears, precise enough for us to locate it.
- 4Your full name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- 5A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- 6A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
Incomplete notices slow everything down. If a required element is missing we will reply asking for it rather than acting on a partial claim.
What happens after we receive a notice
Within 1 business day
We acknowledge receipt of your notice by email.
Within 3 business days
We review the claim and, where the notice is complete and valid, remove or disable access to the material.
Within 5 business days
If the material was user-submitted, we notify the uploader and forward a copy of the notice so they may file a counter-notice.
10–14 business days
If a valid counter-notice is received, we may restore the material unless the complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your signature, the URL of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal resulted from a mistake, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you reside (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found).
Filing a knowingly false claim — in either direction — can carry liability for damages, including costs and legal fees. Please be sure of your position before submitting.

All original articles, benchmark data, illustrations, and code samples published here are the property of SoftwareTestPilot unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to quote up to a short excerpt with a visible credit and a followed link back to the source page. Bulk copying, scraping into another site, or reposting full articles — including machine-translated versions — is not permitted. Code snippets published inside tutorials may be used freely in your own test suites, commercial or otherwise, with no attribution required.
