Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting functional testing, participating in Scrum/Agile development environments, performing API testing, utilizing Java programming for testing, and implementing automation testing practices. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct functional testing demonstrating a good understanding of software testing principles and methodologies - Work in Scrum or Agile development environments, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews - Perform API testing using tools like Postman - Utilize Java programming for testing, with a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and collections - Implement automation testing using tools like Selenium and/or Karate, including test data management, Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), cross browser testing, and reporting - Demonstrate proficiency in version control using Git/GitHub - Utilize automated testing solutions within CI/CD pipelines, using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience in functional testing - Proven experience working in Scrum or Agile development environments - Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman - Skilled in Java programming with a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and collections - Expertise in automation testing using Selenium and/or Karate - Proficiency in utilizing Git/GitHub for version control - Experience in utilizing automated testing solutions within CI/CD pipelines Additional Company Details (if available): The company prefers candidates with 2+ years of testing experience, preferably in the Education domain.
