As a Software Tester (Manual / Automation) joining our global delivery team for a large-scale enterprise transformation program, your main responsibilities will include: - Designing, executing, and documenting manual test cases based on functional and technical requirements. - Developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web and backend applications. - Performing functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing. - Collaborating with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria. - Identifying, logging, tracking, and validating defects using standard defect management tools. - Participating in test planning, estimation, and test strategy discussions. - Ensuring test coverage, quality standards, and traceability across releases. - Supporting test data preparation and environment validation. - Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation). - Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and QA methodologies. - Hands-on experience with test case design, execution, and defect tracking. - Experience with at least one test automation tool or framework. - Ability to work independently in a remote, global delivery environment. - Good communication skills and attention to detail. Preferred experience may also include: - Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. - Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or REST clients. - Knowledge of test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution. - Experience testing enterprise or large-scale systems. - Experience testing SAP or enterprise platforms is a plus.
