We at Innovecture are hiring for a "SDET Engineers" to expand our team, this is a Remote position in India. You will work across various Innovecture and client teams and apply your technical expertise to some of the most complex and challenging technology problems. Job Summary We are seeking highly skilled SDET Engineers with strong expertise in test automation using Playwright and SmartBear TestComplete. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks, improving test coverage, and driving quality engineering best practices. Candidates must be AI-savvy and capable of leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance testing efficiency, productivity, and quality. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and SmartBear TestComplete. Create and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC. Identify, document, and track defects while supporting root cause analysis. Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates. Continuously improve automation coverage, test execution efficiency, and overall product quality. Participate in Agile ceremonies and quality planning activities. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation. Strong experience with SmartBear TestComplete. Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks. Good understanding of API testing and web application testing. Experience with CI/CD tools and source control systems. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. AI & GitHub Copilot (Mandatory) Hands-on experience using AI-assisted testing and development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI platforms. Ability to leverage AI for test case generation, automation scripting, defect analysis, and productivity improvement. Strong understanding of AI-enabled quality engineering practices. Preferred Skills Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber. Exposure to performance testing and API automation. Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
