In your role as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET Engineer - Contract) at WPP Production, your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing automation projects, including concept development, design requirements, system architecture, and test plans - Collaborating with the development team to design and implement new features and libraries for automation frameworks - Developing test automation for web and mobile applications (iOS and Android) - Building test automation infrastructure and test libraries for end-to-end testing - Identifying and implementing improvements to current architecture, processes, and infrastructure - Building self-service tools, APIs, and scripts for continuous end-to-end test automation - Driving increased test automation coverage and reporting in all areas - Collaborating with teams to identify efficiencies, process improvements, and automate routine tasks - Maintaining the current automation framework and automated test case repositories Qualifications required for this role: - Solid understanding of Quality Assurance principles and methodologies - 5+ years of hands-on software development experience using JavaScript, Node.js, Mocha, Jest, Selenium Web Driver, and related technologies - Proven track record of building automation frameworks for different testing levels - Advanced understanding of modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React, Angular - Strong understanding of CMS, Databases, Web Services, XML, HTML, CSS, and DOM elements - Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, and continuous integration build systems - Ability to analyze complex enterprise systems and multi-tier applications - Creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience At WPP Production, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of content production on a global scale, working in a collaborative environment where craft excellence is valued, innovation is encouraged, and next-generation tools are used to amplify human creativity.
