As a Python Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining automated testing infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automation test frameworks and scripts using Python. - Performing end-to-end automation testing for web and services-based applications. - Working on Linux systems for test execution, debugging, and environment setup. - Collaborating with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure quality releases. - Integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improving test coverage. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Strong Python coding skills with at least 5 years of professional experience. - Demonstrated expertise in Automation Testing. - Excellent hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems. - Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, etc. - Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies. - Experience in API automation and basic knowledge of REST services. - Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
