Job description

Job Title: Mobile SDET (Hybrid) Location: Seattle, WA or Vancouver (Hybrid 1 2 days/week) Experience: 8 10 Years Domain: E-Commerce Mobile Applications Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile SDET with strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and hands-on experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in the Retail/E-Commerce domain, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on both automation and manual testing. Key Responsibilities

Perform Functional, Regression, Exploratory, Smoke, and End-to-End testing for iOS and Android mobile applications.
Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
Validate core mobile workflows including login/OTP, checkout, payments, push notifications, and order management.
Identify, log, track, and validate defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
Collaborate with Product, Development, and Business teams to clarify requirements and identify edge cases.
Prepare test execution reports and communicate quality status to stakeholders.
Execute testing across multiple devices, OS versions, and network conditions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and support release validation activities. Required Skills
8 10 years of QA experience with strong expertise in Automation, Manual, and Mobile Functional Testing.
Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
Hands-on experience testing native and hybrid mobile applications on iOS and Android.
Experience with:
Mobile Automation using JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native, and Appium
Functional & Regression Testing
Mobile Application Testing
Defect Management
Test Documentation
Strong understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
Experience using Jira or similar defect tracking tools.
Hands-on experience with BrowserStack for cross-device testing.
Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills
Experience in the Retail/E-Commerce domain with mobile applications.
Exposure to API testing using Postman.
Knowledge of mobile accessibility testing is an added advantage. Mandatory Requirements
Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with iOS and Android mobile application testing.
Experience working on Retail/E-Commerce mobile applications.
Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
