Freelance - Manual Test Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented experienced Freelance Manual QA Tester to join us for a 3 to 4-month project. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our software products through rigorous manual testing, defect reporting, and collaboration with our development team.

• Experience Required: 1–3 years Key Responsibilities
• Test Execution: Perform functional, regression, sanity, and UI testing across web and mobile applications.
• Test Documentation: Review requirements and write clear, comprehensive test cases and checklists.
• Bug Tracking: Identify, log, and track software defects using tools like Jira (or similar project management tools).
• Verification: Re-test fixed bugs to ensure issues are fully resolved without introducing regression.
• Reporting: Provide daily/weekly status updates on test execution progress and test results. Skills & Qualifications
• Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience as a Manual QA Tester or similar role.
• Testing Concepts: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to catch edge cases, UI inconsistencies, and workflow breaking bugs.
• Tools: Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and test management software.
• Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain bugs and steps to reproduce accurately.
