Community guidelines
Keep it calm, keep it useful.
The QA Hangar is a small, trusted room for software testers, SDETs, and automation engineers. A few simple rules keep it that way.
Help first, credit later
Answer like you'd want to be answered on a bad flaky-test day. Share the fix, the version, the file — not just a hot take.
Company Pulse is culture, not confidentials
- • Personal experience only — write what you actually saw and felt.
- • Anonymous by default. Never post someone's name, avatar, or LinkedIn.
- • No salary numbers, offer-letter details, credentials, or internal doc links.
- • Focus on QA culture, work-life, growth, and management.
Reviews reflect one tester's experience and are not verified facts.
Not welcome on the QA Hangar
- • Harassment, slurs, threats, or personal attacks.
- • Recruiter blasts on referral signals — no "hot vacancies", "apply now", WhatsApp numbers, or bulk resume asks. Describe the role like a human.
- • Spam, drop-shipped links, crypto pitches, or off-topic promotions.
- • Sharing anyone else's private conversation or contact details.
See something off? Report it.
Every question, answer, signal, and review has a Report button. Reports are private and reviewed by pilots. Repeat offenders lose posting access.
Question and answer edits are only allowed by the original author. Only the asker can mark an answer as solved.
